From family fun to adrenaline-pumping adventures, Adirondack River Outfitters (ARO) has been guiding the best and safest rafting trips in New York State for over 40 years. They discovered and pioneered the whitewater of the Black River, they were the first New York outfitter on the Moose River, and they were one of the founding members of the Hudson River Professional Rafting Association. ARO has an experienced and personable guide staff. Their guides have a passion for whitewater and share that passion with their guests! 

Since 1957, the Adirondack Experience (formerly the Adirondack Museum) has shared stories of the people who lived, worked and played in the Adirondack Park. The history of the site on which it sits mirrors the history of the Adirondacks itself: from lumber camp to summer hotel to museum to Experience, the museum’s perch above Blue Mountain Lake embodies the transformation of the Adirondacks from wilderness to mineral and lumber resource to resort community to recreation getaway.

Rivett’s Marina is a full-service marina ready to supply all your boating needs when visiting the Adirondack’s beautiful Fulton Chain of Lakes. Located at the southeast end of the Fulton Chain of Lakes, they have been sending off boaters, canoers, fishermen, campers, hikers, and explorers for over a century. Their factory trained technicians have the expertise to service your watercraft and have you back on the pure waters of the Adirondack lakes.

Rivett's Marine can make you the captain of a boat that's perfect for your way of enjoying the beautiful lakes in the scenic Adirondack Mountains. From the spring fishing season through the dazzling hardwood's array of colors in the fall, take the helm of a fully equipped boat out on the lakes. Your boat is safe, USCG equipped and easier to handle than a car. No previous boating experience is necessary – they will give you instructions before you leave.

Mountainman Outdoor Supply Co is the ADK's ultimate outdoor retailer. Located on the shoreline of the meandering Moose River in Old Forge NY the property has a boat shop, rental shop to get you on the river and a gear shop full of the latest outdoor gear, apparel and footwear.  Let them get you out onto the river! Offering "off the dock" canoe/kayak rentals and also shuttled trips, they can customize your river trip to fit your needs! The rental shop and river trips operate Memorial day through Labor day 7 days a week.  Mountain bike rentals and repair available Summer 2024! Stop into the bike shop and then head out onto our McCauley Mountain trails!
